You are entitled to your opinion of course. I've seen the script (and the story bible, which is even more extensive) and my opinion differs considerably. To each his own. I'm well aware that this is a Marathon fan site. :-)

Correct! Most people play it because it's a fun action game and it's really cool to set up a net game with your friends. Just like Marathon.
