The more I think about it, I am pretty sure that I did use that Alien Weapon on the hanging chicken enemy. Even though you can jump over the green slime and onto that central platform where it resides, there is not a lot of room to manuever once you get there. So, I probably grew tired of trying to defeat it with Fists and went ahead and used an Alien Weapon.

: John, there are a couple of possibilities. The room with the destructible
: wires has an overlook with some monsters that shoot at you from above and
: won't come down. Although the level is exploration-only, perhaps you
: mistakenly thought it was an extermination level and you used the alien
: weapon to take them out. The other possibility is that you used it to
: destroy the wires themselves. They can be reached with your knife, but
: barely, and perhaps you thought you needed to use the alien weapon to do
: this.

Ok, I think I know where the secret level was supposed to have originated. Using ResEdit, I was able to search through the terminal text of Trojan. Not to jump ahead, but in the level "Non Dormit, Qui Custodit", there was/is a secret terminal that teleports the player to the level "LovePuppy 23". And as mentioned before, "LovePuppy 23" teleports the player to the level after "Non Dormit, Qui Custodit", namely "Have Gun, Will Travel". The only problem is, I do not know where that secret terminal is in the level "Non Dormit, Qui Custodit", or if it even exists. Although I have my suspicions as to where it might have once been (assuming it no longer exists), I will wait till we discuss that level.

: I didn't realize that the was an unused level in Trojan. When I last played
: the M1 version, I didn't have Pfhorte and didn't realize it was there. The
: level does not even exist in the M2/AO version. Looks like I'll have to
: play it, but if it is a secret level, it's strange that no one has
: commented on it until now. Just because it's not in the spoiler guide
: doesn't mean much - the spoiler guide doesn't cover most secrets and there
: is at least one M1 secret room that isn't shown in the spoiler guide. If
: you found a secret level, I wonder where the entrance is?
