Ah, thanks a ton. The problem I was having was I hadn't realised that the player was jumping in time and through realitys. :P
I was thinking that every level was sequencial(sp?).
Reading your explanation has sorted everything out for me.

It's not the game, it's just hte SDL version of AO isn't as nice or easy to navagate as the Mac version. :P
Like there being no way to set the data on the crosshairs, but still being able to use 'em in-game.
And the preferances menu.
And jus' a load of quirks. ;)
(Like not being able to use my damn joystick!)

I'm a Mac fanatic too, but I need the Windows for Schoolwork.
Bring on the Intel Macs.
