Gemini and AO

Has anyone here played the scenario Gemini using the AO engine? I seem to be stuck - on one of the later levels there are 2 chip slots that aren't accepting my chip insertions. I checked the level out in Forge and the slots work fine there. Anyone experienced this problem before, or did I miss some critical juncture?
BTW, this is one cool little scenario - the plot's a bit contrived, the difficulty is insane in places, ammo is generally inadequate and the way to proceed is often not obvious - but it really is one hell of a play.
