The Marathon BOB predates the MS Bob... In fact, Bungie was probably referring to this when they put the MBIBTYB acronym on the Marathon 2 box and released the 'My Bob is Bigger than Your Bob' t-shirts.
And guess where that friggin' yellow dog lives on? Windows XP's file search. I got so annoyed with it that I replaced it with RvB's Sarge.
