In Response To: Trojan Volunteers - Aggressive Marketing (Steve Levinson)

I checked with my saved game for this level. I was able to finish it using only one Shotgun blast. Those spherical robots are possible to defeat with Fists. Surprisingly it only takes a few good running punches to cause them to explode. But you have to be patient and very accurate with your punches. Plus you have to have a recharger handy as you will take a goodly amount of damage from them as Steve has mentioned. It's been awhile since I played Trojan, but after reviewing the layout of this level, I seem to recall my opening strategy was to beam into the room with the two robots (ignoring them for now), shooting that high switch with the Shotgun blast (which opens an elevated doorway into this room), immediately taking the nearby teleporter, and from where this teleports you, quickly heading back to the room containing the two robots, but this time taking the elevated walkway. This was in order to get to the elevated teleporter that sends you back to the 2x recharger at the beginning of the level. I also recall that I took many, many tries before finally succeeding. Once you have that pathway established, finishing the level with Fists is not too difficult.

: We meet one of these right away - the GenCorp
: machine gun drone. These are very small, spherical robots that are dark
: grey and extremely hard to see in dark light. They are highly maneuverable
: and have a habit of getting up close and personal, but just above or below
: your line of sight. They tend to attack in pairs and their aim is deadly
: accurate - perhaps John Sumner would know, but I've never found a way to
: take these out without using ammo.
