Yes, I've done it myself some time long ago. If there aren't too many buttons on the screen you can use them as sprites and move them around pretty smoothly. If you use oddly shaped buttons for walls and things you can also have some kind of collision detection and... Well actually, I'm not sure it was made in HyperCard...
