MSI package for Marathon ?

A few years ago when I began to use the computers as a student @ UofM, I favored the Mac's over the IBM's. One day I came across a folder on the network that had tons of shareware apps. Lo and Behold I found a games folder. I played this multi player tank game ( Cant remember the name but it was fun). The next month I came acroos a folder called Marathon. I was hook. It turned out to be short lived, each time I tried to play, the computer would freeze or something would come up. ( Any 1 remember the name of the tank game, it was an above view perspective and you could capture little bases - pill boxes I think they were called.)

Anyway to get to the point I found a link to where the Windows files. I just downloaded them to day but noticed its a ZIP file folder and files. If there isnt a problem (legal or otherwise) I could probably repackage the game into an MSI file. Not sure if this is a no-no cause the One- Click installer has been removed. Anyone have any info or something?
