The man has a point. I was on aleph-one's IRC channel, and the only word I could think of was "bullshit". Constantly being harrassed by the mod at the time to change my name to 'noob' or some bullshit like that, because he didn't know me and couldn't accept a "blatant" name (one with "me" in it; I took it intentionally to cause confusion, dumbarse). Fuck him. Fuck IRC. (No offense to the undoubtedly numerous IRC users here, this is just my shitty opinion)
AIM I'm not going to even bother with, but it's nice to know it's back (the marathon channel died completely for a long time...)
The Pfhorums on the other hand, aren't that bad. Face it, we get quite a bit off topic from time to time, but that's to be expected, and hardly a bad thing (I would mention something here about 'familiar faces' if anyone other than K-chi had ever posted pics... that reminds me, what happened to her?) but just looking over the list of topics, they're mostly fairly well-focussed (there are of course the occasional pieces of stupidity like 'OMG java marathon!!!11') but I say there's no fair reason to avoid it. The people aren't as nice as here, though.
Didn't you post there a fair bit, not long ago?
Their stupid signature banners & avitars suck anyway.
