Welcome to the wonderful world of wireheading :)
: Then again there are studies showing that hospitialized people who are prayed
This I did, surprisingly, know about, but didn't think of. Even assuming the study is entirely unbiased (I've read some extremely suspect ones that claim this sort of thing can happen across the globe to people they've never met, using nothing more than a photo of them, and digital ones work too ), well, maybe one day we'll know what really happened. I really hate the new-age spiritual bullshit, though. Most paranormal hunters (and such) are probably simply schizophrenics who will alter the course of events to make it appear something happened... but there are other cases, occasionally... the fact that 99% of them are false alarms is offputting, though... (Like with government conspiracies. There *ARE* some regarding Tesla, 9/11, and a handful of other things... bah, one day...) |
