: There is a secret ammo stash between this area and the next. There is a
: golden corridor with one panel that seems lighter than the rest, even
: accounting for the light falling on it. Tabbing on it makes a locked door
: sound, however. It turns out there is a switch back a ways on the opposite
: wall behind a panel - there is nothing to distinguish it from the surround
: wall, so the only way to find it is by tabbing everywhere.

Hmmm, don't think I noticed the locked door sound - there was the brightly lit corner with a low window around there as well, I think, but I couldn't get it to do anything.

: There is also a Galaxan ambush just before the lift, and it's much more
: difficult that usual because there are pillars in the way that tend to
: force the player into one-on-one confrontations, and with no way to
: recharge shields. It took me several tries to deal with them and still
: have some shields left.

Yeah, I used my fusion pistol on them but it's still hard as those guided projectiles are really good at following you on retreat through the curved passage!

: This is really a wild room, and not so easy to get to in and of itself.

A real shame that that door into it doesn't work, but that would cause reality problems with the water and all....

: And with that we're off to Jaunt. I'll be going out of town tomorrow
: afternoon and won't be back until Tuesday. If your up to it, please feel
: free to post on Jaunt and I'll take on Sensori OverLord when I return. Oh,
: and noticing your address, how's winter treating you? ;^)

Sure I can take Jaunt - one that I won't mind going through again. The winter isn't so bad - the dashboard weather widget tells me it's currently 16°C out there, but that it will be raining again tomorrow, damn. Yesterday had a rainy and windy morning, a great challenge for an umbrella! Incidentally I've been realising it's strange me posting I played a level 'last night' when the post times are all in US time of ... some sort. I've got 12:50pm Thursday right now.
