Infinity release date?

Hey everybody,

I'm trying to figure out exactly when Infinity was released (in the US). Googling for it gives all sorts of results... Oct 15th 1996, Mar 5th 1997, Apr 15 1997, etc etc etc.

Does anybody know where there's a concrete release date listed somewhere? I could swear I remember it being in Nov or Dec 1996.
