Never knew about the alternative level here ... and glad of it I guess. I also never knew about the underwater secret, not surprisingly really - but as has been said, extra ammo is always nice in this scenario ... and the next level is no exception.
Otherwise, I completely agree about the 'boring level' sentiment. I guess extermination levels risk that at the best of times but especially in the water maze, this one really is just uninspiring. The early parts are slightly more interesting - the 'cabinets' that you can open are a nice touch, and one provides something useful if I remember correctly?
