The M-41A is, in my opinion, the best sci-fi weapon ever. The fact that they had actual firing versions makes it feel more real than, say, Star Trek's phasers.

The XM8 and G36 are both designed to carry a scope, whereas the Redemption AR isn't. There might be something useful in the XM8's modularity, though.
