A1 for Nintendo DS: Second Try
Posted By: Johannes GunnarDate: 4/28/05 5:11 a.m.

I've been looking at Nintendo DS for a long time now, and i am probably going to buy it next week. Now i was wondering because Nintendo DS uses flash memory cards for games it might be possible to just download a ROM image of a game, load it on the flash card (usb media hub connected to your mac/pc for example) and put it in the DS and play... now that's just a theory of mine that that is possible, i have not researched it. But if this is possible, wouldn't it be easy to get marathon data files on those cards to play on DS. Then... wouldn't some programmer just go and port aleph one over and voila...?
(add DS version to opensource... :) )

Now that would be great.
(and multiplayer support would be awesome) :D
