In Response To: Cybertonics, AIs, and fundamental issues (J-M)

So far, we still haven't looked at the relevance of the word cybertonics. It fascinates me, as linguistics is a bit of a habit of mine. The other thing that I think needs a bit of looking is the S'pht. I'd love to know just how they work, because they behave....wrong in a lot of ways, but again, consistently so.

Also, earlier the jjrro universality theory got nailed.... so this means we're down to plot device or basic similarity. Finally, I'd like to mention that I've been wondering why the Pfhor would ever have pattern buffers on their ships at all. It doesn't seem useful.
