Bryce 1.0 and Marathon landscapes
Posted By: BlayneDate: 3/16/05 6:35 p.m.

Hey everyone,

I've got ahold of Bryce 1.0.1 - yes, old. Very old, but useful for my purposes.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the limited GIU interface, and create two infinite planes (as if you were inbetween the crust of a planet, and whever lies below).

Bryce... isn't cooperating. Does anyone know of a good resource of old Bryce scene files I can muck around with? Either that, or some kind of guidance for getting two infinite planes to texture properly horizontally?

The photoshop route (thanks Forrest!) looks like this:

The foreground when run through photoshop looks very blurry, and can't texture horizontally. It looks good, but I can't use it as a landscape as-is. Any helpful words of wisdom?

Regards,
-Blayne

Perspective landscape - so... blurry!
