engines, like the build engine or the crappy doom engine, being "more developed" than AO.
I mean,
They add more and more features, trying to improve the feel of the game, and AO can't even do free floating bridges(there's the inio build, but it is only for OS9)... the argument is that the devs. or I don't know who, thinks that Marathon will lost his feel and affect gameplay adding some new features(like jumping). Ppl has told me that community split, well I think that the closed minded should stay in AO, and the open minded should develop something new (I dunno, lets call it Aleph Two).
Or why not add features that can be turned on/off via MML, LUA or something?
We fans should ask for more features, like a particle system(that wouldn't affect the gameplay). The open-minded should join and ask for more features.
Anyway
I just get angry when I see doom doing free floating bridges and having dynamic lights...
