In Response To: Pathways Redux (Friedrich...)

: Pathways Redux describes the events of a major nine-day crisis in 1994.

: In the twilight hours of May 7, 1994, eight Special Forces operatives were
: paradropped into the Yucatan Peninsula. Seven safely landed and carried
: the nuclear bomb into the pyramid. Hours later, they ran out of bullets.

: Pathways Redux. A single-player mod for Doom 3 based on Pathways into
: Darkness.
It sounds cool...unfortunately most of the weapons/creatures I've seen in the screenshots (haven't played it yet...I will when I buy Doom III and if the mod works for Mac) are simply reskins (if that) of the regular Doom III weapons/monsters (i.e. you have fists instead of a knife and the handgun is simply a reskinned Doom pistol that looks nothing like a Walther P38; the Headlesses are headless skeletons and the Nightmares are simply blue Cacodemons), this looks more like a mod in progress that a finished product, but what is new looks extremely polished. Let's hope that it's more than a straight port save for the levels (new guns would be nice).
