I have to back up Claude here. It's one thing to see someone mentioning something about Marathon that is factually incorrect and to simply correct them (politely); and it's one thing to defend your favorite game against moronic detractors who know nothing about it; but it's something else entirely to see someone say something nice but factually incorrect and go "haha what a n00b".

Marathon is a great piece of gaming history and as some of it's original fans we've got the responsiblity to welcome people interested in it and share the knowledge we've accumulated over the years. Welcome them into the community. Plenty of people here are warm and welcoming when someone shows up to *this forum*, but then seem to rag on anyone from someone else who says anything slightly wrong about Marathon, even as part of a compliment or recommendation.
