I wonder if it will return to our galaxy again in another thousand years, and settle in somewhere in a void between some spiral arms...
(As an aside, I always thought it kind of odd that Rubicon goes off and has some adventures around a "rogue star" which is NOT the one rogue star that we've ever heard of in the Marathon trilogy. I wonder if Dan and Chris's original Salinger plot had it around Durandal's rogue star, and they moved it to the galactic core as part of the Rubicon rewrites?)
