: I was just reading through the old "Hangar 96" text, and I came
: across this phrase, which seemed familiar to me from somewhere outside of
: that context. I thought about it and realized where I've seen that before.

: I wrote it.

: In one of my more depressed moods I once wrote in an old journal of mine (in
: an art class, as I recall) about this strange guilt complex I seem to have
: always had, and that though I'm not sure what I did wrong, or what went
: wrong, whatever is is that's wrong, I did it, or I could have somehow
: stopped it.

He who sells what is not his, creates what is not his by right, bears the guilt of his fellows, shall hold the hand of change, the hand of power.

: I'm starting to think that Marathon may have gone to my brain... or maybe I
: just like it so much cause I empathize with the player-character so much?

You ever been to Yucatan? Face the dreaming god, the master of puppets whom pulls your string and tolls twelve bells, but not all is well, for I'm creeping death, as it is writen, so let it be done. Become he who tugs the strings for the universe, become destiny.

: Meh. At least I've never committed genocide, at least not that I can
: remember...
