In Response To: Re: Whither WMAID? (Blayne) : What remains to be done is to rewrite, and in some cases just modify WMaiD's
How much of the scenario can be played through before you hit a missing level or texture set? Could you release the first half? Basically, what are the chances you'll hit a "this all sucks, let's scrap everything and start over", or a "I just thought of a cool new feature that'd be totally worth rebuilding/retexturing every map to implement it"? It seems to happen to every sufficiently complex gaming project, and those with no deadline end up in an endless cycle of redesigns. |
