: I need some help too by the way. I deduce from the fact that you know
: marathon that at least a few you guys had macs way back there in 1994 ar
: around. I just got a midi controller keyboard for nothing and am trying to
: get it to work with my good old macintosh performa 630. It doesn't have a
: PPC processor. I've been looking around the web for really old software,
: sequencers or anything that I could use to write music on the computer...
: Anyone have any ideas? Did you write mmusic in your heyday? Do you remmeber
: what you used?
Wow - pre PPC! Well, I remember using Sound App and Arnold's MIDI player for playback, and theoretically you could use any text editor to edit MIDI files. Why don't you try doing a search on Version Tracker or Mac Up-to-date for music apps for the Classic Environment?
