if i remember right dual wielding was hard coded into only few weapon slots, (maybe i am wrong) shotgun and pistol. You can only make those dual wielded. But you can always switch weapon slots, just copy all the stuff from the fusion pistol to the shotgun slot and voila, you got a dual wielding fusion pistol.

: no, it's not that simple. i've edited the physics, turning the fusion pistol
: into a two-fisted weapon, but since i can only pick up one of them, i can
: only use one. i need to edit something else to be able to pick up two.

: waaay before halo 2, there was a quake 2 mod called brazen, in which the
: player could use both hands for weapons: pistols (replacing that gay-ass
: blaster), shotguns, and machine guns. it also allowed the player to rip
: off the enemy's guns (like the tank's rocket launcher) and use them,
: discarding them when they're empty. i've never played halo 2, but brazen
: only allowed the player to carry so much stuff like in halo (and
: counterstrike before it). pretty cool mod.
