The plasma cannon is you most powerful weapon. It is fast, effective and unlike with the Pfhor weapons, replenishable. BTW, if people didn't notice it, you can hold two fusion pistols in Eternal - it took me a while to realize this since I'm not used to being able to do so. In any case, I always recommend using non-replenishable ammo first as you never know when it will be available again. There is a lot of Pfhor ammo available for the taking on this level, so the need to use the plasma cannon is virtually nonexistent here. Save your Plasma ammo for later, when you may find yourself in more of a bind.
