Now I really need help.

I have a copy of Bungie's Mac Action Sack CD. I ordered it, and as soon as I had it in my hands, I created a virtual image (.dmg) on my Hard Disk, for backup purpose. Then I put my original copy in a safe place.
Recently, my Mac's hard disk crashed, and I had to replace it. I took my Mac Action Sack CD out of the library, and inserted it in my computer's cd reader.
Launch Disk Utility and ::dang:: I get an error like "argument not valid". Can't create a copy of the CD. Verifying the media also returns an error, related to the MDB database (so it seems to me).
Got the CD out of the reader, I notice a strange shape.. It isn't scratched, but there is a pattern I hadn't noticed before...
And it doesn't work.. I was planning to get another copy, but I don't want to get an used one...
