I've heard that weird practices like that are common in Utah, but celebrating Christmas on April 6 definitely isn't standard LDS doctrine. Most Mormons have no problem with Christmas where it is. Evidence here. I'm trying not to start a flamewar, but I have no idea what this bit of dis/misinformation was doing in a Marathon post in the first place. As for who's going to argue about the date, historians and pedants, I guess. |
