"Durendal" was the sword in the "Song of Roland" - connected to Charles le Magne (Charlemagne). What I believed until I read the really long French epic for an essay was that Cortana (or some derrivitive of the name) was another sword in that play. I recal Joyeuse was another Sowrd, wielded by the Bishop or someone. Where did the 'cortana' name come from again? Forrest? Anyone?
