Marathon abandonware

OK, Claude contacted Bungie quite a while ago on the whole abandonware deal. When I asked what they replied a while later, he said they hadn't gotten back to him yet, and I assume that if they had by now, he would have posted about it.

Could Bungie be planning to declare the Marathon trilogy abandonware on the 21st?

*prepares a quickly cutnpastable extra section of the article which says so, just to have it ready, just in case*
