: G3 Moontanning is time-dependent - you have a very limited amount of time to
: reach the end terminal - if you fail, you end up in the failure timeline.
: I can verify that it's virtually impossible on Total Carnage (my usual
: skill level), so if you just can't beat the clock, try dropping down to a
: lower difficulty level. Just be warned, however, that if you succeed, the
: first level in the success timeline starts with an ambush, so charge up
: first!

Let me elaborate on Steve's comment. It IS virtually impossible to complete G3 successfully if you are playing Eternal Mk III. However, if you are playing this level with Eternal Mk IV, then it's much easier to complete the level successfully on TC. I know because I did it the first time I tried. Forrest made several changes (much to the better I might add) between Mk III and Mk IV, so that completing G3 should be easier for all players. Basically, in Mk IV he restricted the free movement that the Troopers and Hunters had in Mk III so that they no longer tend to clog up the important hallways and doorways. Also he increased the time allowed for completing the level successfully. In Mk III, the player had (going on memory here) 5 min 14 sec. In Mk IV, the player now has 7 min to complete the level. The time I was successful, I had a little over a minute to spare. So the changes made by Forrest from Mk III to Mk IV were perfect.
