Halo Fans!!!

I started out as a halo fan and found my way here. I was searching for answers to my questions, who were the Forerunner, why do the covenant feel they are so close to the forerunner, whats with the biblical references I have been finding. And I was just wondering what Marathon was all about from what I have gathered it is a video game. Please fill me in, my AIM screen name is bluesfavor hit me up on it or post here. Thanks ;)
