problem saving in marathon red, evil, and fell....

Well I got Red, Evil, and fell to work nicely on SDL and everything, but when I go to load a game it gives me a message that says "resume as (no valid options)" it happens with most scenarios I'm guessing. Well it's not just saving if I go to difficulty it also says no valid options. I get the same exact problem in the three mentioned above, the wierd thing is I don't have this problem for A1M1 and regular M2.
while opening resource file C:\Documents and Settings........\MarathonRed.......\Saved Games\Untitled Game(resource_manager.cpp:276)
while trying path C:\Documents and Settings........\MarathonRed.......\Saved Games\Untitled Game(resource_manager.cpp:264)
file's resource header corrupt (resource_manager.cpp:165)
I cut and pasted that from the log except for the .......... which I implemented to shorten the file path, although I dont know if this information helps any bit.
Any body here know any way that could possibly help besides re-downloading all of the files(I did that already)?
