I sorta get that Marathon Infinity changes the ending to Marathon 2... or something like that. I'm not a fan of Aleph one and I ain't played for a long time...

Thing is, I don't quite understand what Durandal is referring to when he talks about "another ruined world, this time far from the galactic core", and the "rogue star that has been passing through our galaxy for nearly a millennia."

Is that planet where MI takes place? I always thought MI takes place on the Sp'ht homeworld.
