In Response To: Esoteric Mapping Tools (Forrest of B.org)

Not sure, but merging the map and opening in Pfhorte, change it there, then swop back to Forge might do it.

: I've got a rather odd situation in search of an odd tool to help. I'm hoping
: someone here knows if such a thing exists, or if not, that someone might
: have sufficient technical knowledge of Marathon's innards to tell me how
: to do it by hand.

: I've got a big, complex map that's a huge pain and a half to texture because
: Forge chokes all over it. I want to retexture it in a different texture
: set: however, since all my texture sets are symmetrical, all I want to
: change is which SET the map is using - the actual bitmaps and alignment
: and everything are just fine.

: Anybody know of any tool that might let me do this, or if not, know where I
: might go into the map in a hex editor and change some value to do this?
