In Response To: .BM files? (goran)

: I thought it was the best day in my life, I had finally found a way to deal
: with the dark forces texture.gob files. A neat program extracted the files
: for me into what? .BM files. I found another tool for converting them into
: pict files on the very same dark forces homepage, unfortunately, the
: program was outdated, and didn't work for me.

: So now I have a bunch of BM files I can't open. Does anyone here know if
: there's a mac program capable of opening these files?

Goran, the only possible solution for you is to get the "Dark Forge" level editor, it come with "DF gold package IIRC )
open a Gob files ( in that case the levels.gob file ) click on a section of the map, and browse the texture palette ( there's only one big textures collection for Dark Force ), the only way to save a texture is by taking a snapshot of it, apple-shift 3 i think ) it will save it as a pict, i hope it help you!
