In Response To: PF Volunteers - Wha??/Persistence/Villa Torlonia (Steve Levinson)

: As you move forward, look behind you as you
: pass an alcove on the right - that magenta panel that looks like a circuit
: is actually an O2 panel - the last you'll see before returning to New
: Phoenix.

I never noticed that before. You must have been sightseeing to catch that. :)

: Pfhorte tells
: me there are errors in this map - what gives?

I am not sure why Phorte does that. It also does that for many of the M1 levels.

: One thing I'm curious about, however,
: is that there are monster indicators in the motion sensor, yet I can never
: find them even when I seem to be right on top of them. I can't find
: anything in Pfhorte, either. Matt?

If you look closely, in Pfhorte you will see the outline of other polys that you can't click on. (Why I don't know.) If I look at the map in Forge, those polys have the same floor and ceiling height as the floor polys that we walk on, but are not connected. Pfhorte shows there to be 9 Beasts on the level. So it seems that Matt and Andrew pulled off the same trick as in the M-Inf level "Where are monsters in dreams" - that is, overlapping polys with inaccessible enemies. I suppose those enemies are the Beasts.
