Post counts
Posted By: Steve LevinsonDate: 8/19/04 9:19 a.m.

One interesting side-effect that moving pre-2004 posts to an archive had is that it reset the post counts for all of us in our online profiles. Before this I was at around 1000 lifetime posts - number 4 on the list. For 2004, I have 645 posts (646 with this one). Although I'm too lazy to click on everyone's profiles, a quick check under the profiles of the most prolific posters shows this to be a good 200 more than anyone else's. If that's true, I'm well on my way to beating Hamish's 2000 posts, since he hasn't been posting much lately. I'm not sure whether I should be honored, or horrified!

BTW, is there any way to get back at the number of pre-2004 post counts?
