Well, it just seems to go one way in the player's hand and then twist another way. An image, to demonstrate my point. Maybe the player's hand needs to be tilted a little bit so that it looks like he's holding it correctly...?

And I think someone else has pointed out the small transparency problems with the cyrstals on the staff, but I just want to reiterate.
