RED 1.1 update

I admit I've been completely neglecting this project ever since the threads ended- I just couldn't find the time or motivation to get started. But, the other weekend, I happened to actually meet Ian face-to-face (for the first time, to boot), and he reiterated his support for the project as well as clearing up a few issues we had never managed to figure out. So, RED 1.1 is now under way, based on the collected results of all those threads. It shouldn't take too long since all the hard decisions have already been made.
