I was reading an article on the Iconography, and it's effect in the Comic Business over at UGO.com. Author John Byrne made an really good comment I think applies to the extended version(s) of the Marathon universe:
"...the best kind of continuity concerns itself with the Big Picture, not with the tiniest of tiny brush strokes.
It needs to be something that stretches and grows. Otherwise [...], it becomes something we would not even recognize, today. If it was even still around, and not shackled by those lengthy, weighty chains, like Marley's Ghost, crushed by the weight of its own history."
It seems you were right Forrest. : )
On a side note: Does anyone know what to do when any version of Forge on my Macintosh under OS 9.1 starts randomly making map lines flagged solid, sometimes without showing it flagged as such?
That, and odd occurances around doors. Many crashes. Enough bad things to make me scared for my Nebulon level.
Has this occured with anyone else recently? Funny scaling with textures (similar to that Chisel plugin, but occuring after a hard Forge crash once...) also pop up everywhere. Rebuilding these areas seems to spring up issues in others. I think someone up above hates me.
Or perhaps just the Nebulons. ; D
