In Response To: How the Minf timeline "fixes" the M2 one (Ernie)

: How does this make sense? Does the universe not wind up into the chaos?
: Bungie created this game and existed "as is" before D.A made
: Infinity. Did they make a game where the universe is slowly being
: destroyed by a being of chaos while Durandal still putters along seeking
: his answers?

Hmm, you seem to be misusing the word 'chaos'. Probably the best definition would be of something that responds to it's environ in a way that is inconsistent with similar, but simpler, systems, so basically it's one thing leading to another. Put it this way, any being that resists entropy can be described a chaotic. So basically that means anything living :).

If the Universe winds up into chaos, well put it this way, if it had *not* ascended into chaos, then it would be entirely homogenous, better described as empty. So, the Universe always has 'wound into the chaos', if it hadn't, there would be no Marathon (shudder), no people to play it (argh) or even computers to make it with (ergo no reason to live )
