You can indeed use any version of AO with M1A1 - the specifics of the scenario are implemented in the MML script. Now in terms of setting the mouse sensitivity, I'm not on the right computer now, but as I recall, there are two options for using the mouse - the keyboard and mouse setting or through input sprockets. I never tried this with OS X, but in OS 9 the input sprocket option makes use of the OS's built-in support for input devices, mice among them. There is a specific setting in the input sprocket preference panel for x & y mouse sensitivity and what they control.
