An update on the teleporter debate

Forgot to mention this earlier, well current teleportation systems have an entanglement yield of well below 1 in 10 billion; and that's only for photons. The chances of a given atom making it through are something like 1 in 200 billion. The chances of a whole *person* making it through would be... well... 1 in 200bil * about 10^25... less than 1 in 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. (Slightly higher than Bush's chances of survival in the next election) So, that gives you an idea of just how far off teleportation we are. Also, there's the fact that we still have no idea of how to entangle *atoms*, since the scienticians entangled the laser beam by firing through a special crystal.
