Help on Red

Can anybody give me a hint. I'm playing Red (Infinity version) and I'm on the "can you say "Mosh Pit"" level. I've cleaned out the ship and gone back to the alien ship and cleaned it out but I can''t seem to get up the transporter to get to the next (final?) level. I realize this is pretty elementary but I'm just a casual/recreational player of Marathon. Thanks.
