In Response To: Custom CULT modification with Hakvil? (Ernie)

To modify or hack a colors palette you will need M2/M? clut modifier.
One thing to remember: when you add non-standard colors into an Infinity shapes
files you will need to make two version of your shapes file, one for Forge editing, one for the game. Just look at the M1A1 tool kit released a while ago, the M1A1 shapes files contain all the original M1 wall with their own colors, but they M1 colors are also considered non-standard by the Minf engine. That's why Raul made a shapes file using the standard Infinity colors, and one with the M1 non-standard pallete.
I think that Hoth, the unreleased scenario, had this problem as well, due to the fact that's they are using a non-standard snow blue into the water textures palette.
Muerte machine too, and my upcoming scenario as well.
Remember, when modifying or importing non-standard colors, make a standard version of your shapes file for editing in Forge.
One last thing, make sure then you don't play in 256 colors with your new palette, or the game will crash, be sure to tell that into the read me!
I hope it helped, if you need more help email me!
