You know he's not really pimping it. Every news post he's made about it is very low key. Waiting for someone to spot it first, then posting about the first notice in the HBO forum (there's your reason it's only on HBO [and Rampancy, and here]). I reckon this has very little to do with Claude, other than the fact that he's hosting it, but he hosts a lot of things. Probably some guy(s)'s pet project that he was suitably impressed with to host. I doubt this is anything to do with Bungie, Wideload or HBO directly though obviously it is inspired by Halo and Marathon.
Just my revised thoughts. Hell, I thought it was a Wideload announcement at first :)
