Uhm, twas an early 3D-object acting as scenery, with a texture ripped from the walls (the big metal aluminiumistic ones). The player and monsters could run under the floating scenery-cube, but they also could run through the ramps (which looked immense stoopid). Nothing to do with B&B.
I've searched twice now for that screenshot and/or model, but seems I lost it already.
