Marathon Clone Troopers? (Need Help)

I ran into the scan below while looking for information about human cloning.

Is it me or does the logo on the red concept trooper looks like the Marathon logo? The jpeg compression makes it hard (for me) to distinguish whenever the white shape enclosed within the red circle is in fact another circle -- or is it a diamond?

The scan comes from Star Wars Insider #74. Any help will be appreciated.
