Steve, I'm a bit confused as to how you got to the final room without going left at all. The "door" that leads to the "sling-shot pillars" (before the room where you are trapped) is really a series of five adjacent doors that are opened by the five switches surrounding the core. As far as I can tell, they are opened only by flipping those switches, hence necessitating going left. How did you get those five doors open without flipping all five switches?
